The architectural objective has been to provide a building of distinctive appearance, which also respects the scale and treatment of completed buildings on adjoining plots, and which is of a quality that is appropriate for a headquarters building. A rectangular footprint has been adopted to provide simple clear office footplates which can be easily subdivided on a modular basis. This simplicity is carried through to the building section and curved roof form.
